Hey, oh HEY! 

Glad you’ve taken a moment to see what I am up to creatively. As you’ll see, I approach writing like I approach life; with sincere curiosity, a critical mind, and an instinct for authentic storytelling. I enjoy crafting narratives that disrupt the way we see ordinary things. My pug, Boo Radley would agree with this.

From working in education to being a super star in PR to helping build and maintain e-commerce sites, what’s evident in my career is the thread of storytelling that pulls it all together. Let me break it down further: I worked very diligently to inspire my students to read more books about adventure; helped to create buzz around financial news; and taught myself to code and write SQL so I could maintain the e-com site of a beloved global brand. I guess you can say I’ve been busy. 

Throughout all of my career pursuits, my first love still remains writing and finding compelling ways to tell stories that matter.

My work has appeared in The Fader, The Undefeated, and Brain Mill Press. I’ve completed an ABC/Black Writer’s Club fellowship and written campaigns with the ESPN Creative Studio team. I’d love to work with you someday too. Take a look around, and if you feel compelled, contact me.
